Viral Hepatitis in numbers
The elimination of viral hepatitis B and C has now been firmly put on the map. At the 69th World Health Assembly in Geneva, 194 governments adopted WHO’s Global Strategy on Viral Hepatitis, which includes a goal of eliminating hepatitis B and C in the next 13 years. The community responded by launching NOhep, the first ever global movement to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030.
During 15 years KMT Hepatech is helping drug development companies in finding cure for viral hepatitis.
“The uPA/SCID mouse model made an important contribution to the development of curative therapies for HCV. We look forward to supporting the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in their development of curative therapies for HBV and broadly in generating safe new treatments,”
