Northern Alberta chapter of the Canadian Liver Foundation honours KMT’s President and CEO Dr. Norman Kneteman

KMT Hepatech Inc. together with Northern Alberta division of Canadian Liver Foundation will honour Dr. Norman Kneteman, company’s President and CEO at Edmonton’s Masque Gala event on October 1, 2011.
Dr. Norman Kneteman will be honoured for his support of those affected by liver disease. Currently the Professor of Surgery at the University of Alberta and Regional Program Clinical Director of Transplantation at the University Hospital/Alberta Health Services, he was the first to perform a liver transplant at the University Hospital in 1989. He also heads the Alberta Liver Transplant Program while practicing hepatobiliary/pancreatic/transplant surgeon.
The Canadian Liver Foundation (CLF) is a national non-profit organization committed to promoting liver health and providing hope to people living with liver disease through: investment in liver research; sharing the knowledge gained through liver research with the medical community and the public; delivering support programs through committed volunteers; advocating for liver health for all Canadians.
Each year the Northern Alberta chapter of the Canadian Liver Foundation honours someone who has made a difference in the lives of those affected by liver disease. All funds raised at this event will support the programs and services of the Northern Alberta/Edmonton Chapter.
