Canadian Symposium on Hepatitis C Virus

Dr. Lorne Tyrrell, Vice President and CSO, will participate in Canadian Symposium on Hepatitis C Virus, organized by National CIHR Research Training Program on Hepatitis C (NCRTP-HepC). The use of KMT MouseTM in HCV research will be illustrated by the presentation "Response of two HCV strains to exogenous interferon treatment in chimeric mice". Abstract will be posted at KMT's web site after the event.

About NCRTP-HepC: The research training program, NCRTP-HepC, is a public private-partnership designed to raise national training standards, promote leadership and enhance awareness of Hepatitis C. The NCRTP-HepC is designed to foster learning and collaboration amongst clinical, basic biomedical, social/cultural/ environmental/population health and health systems/services, including disciplines in medicine, nursing and social sciences to more effectively impact reduction in the burden of disease caused by hepatitis C.
